Weardale House Accomodation
Sleeping arrangements are on two floors, giving a capacity of up to 70 in 7 dormitories and 4 staff bedrooms. The floors are usually split one for females, one for males.

Pillows, duvets and clean bed linen are all provided.

Each floor has toilets, sinks and baths, with separate facilities for students and staff.

The dormitories are comfortable and practical. Students are asked to complete simple duties to assist keeping their dormitories and other parts of the centre clean and tidy.

Downstairs there are two lounges, one for staff and one for students, and a large dining room. Staff have access to the kitchen, e.g., at supper time, and there are also tea and coffee facilities in staff bedrooms. Mini safes are available for security.

Outside buildings include a large games room with table tennis and a cold drinks vending machine, a shower and toilet block, handy for students returning from wet activities, a drying room and waterproof and boot room.

We have five acres of grounds, including a large games field and all weather area giving plenty of scope for young people to safely enjoy the Weardale air in their free time.

All residential programmes include full-board comprising a cooked breakfast, packed lunch and a three course evening meal. The tasty home-cooked meals are varied and plentiful. We happily cater for vegetarians and special diets.
