Our Mission
|
Weardale House is a not-for-profit residential Outdoor Education Centre committed to providing challenging activity and development courses to schools, colleges, training groups and youth organisations.
We strive to provide the skills and resources to help children, young people and adults develop confidence and self esteem through the enjoyment and pursuit of outdoor adventure.
Weardale House will provide opportunities for participants to experience...

- how to learn new skills
- how to express feelings and values

WEARDALE HOUSE AWARDED LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM QUALITY BADGE
|

Weardale House is one of the first outdoor centres in the country to be awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, recognising it as a provider of quality, safely managed educational experiences for young people. The Quality Badge is a new scheme, combining for the first time learning and safety into one easily recognisable badge for all organisations providing learning outside the classroom experiences.
