When I first got my Weardale letter I wa very excited. I showed my Mum and Dad, they were really impressed. It was an amazing time I had there. I will always treasure my pictures and memories of it. Thankyou for granting me the privilege of going to that wonderful place.

Weardale was really good and fun. It was loads better than school. The activities were great and the food was lovely.
It was a great experience and it was even better because you were with your friends.
Weardale was very exciting and fun. The instructors were kind and helpful.
It was brilliant - you could achieve so much.
Weardale was exciting, fun, enjoyable, brilliant, fantastic. Weardale made me happy. I went and did fantastic things.
Weardale was a huge lifetime experience. It gave me confidence to do much more. When I have kids I will definately take them there because it's packed with activities and I think the instructors are fantastic.

All staff and young people at the Cramlington Youth Project would like to thank you all for a brilliant weekend at Weardale.
All the young people are talking about returning again in the future. Every young person that went on the weekend took on new challenges that even the workers were amazed they could achieve. Once again thank you for all your efforts and support - you made our jobs a lot easier. We will certainly come back!

I don't think I would be exaggerating if I said that the students and staff had a wonderful week! Your staff were excellent and confident which certainly made us feel that our students and us were in safe hands. The activities challenged us, but students were allowed to do things at their own pace. Your instructors quickly became aware of the differing levels of ability and, where appropriate, planned differentiated activities. They were also extremely patient when it took us so long to get ready for activities - THANK YOU!

We had a great time and it was certainly a memorable and enjoyable experience for us all. We are sad to leave, after feeling so welcome. A massive thank you to the instructors and the cooks. The instructors were extremely friendly and were very adaptable to our needs and very down to earth. All credit goes to them for making our weekend one to remember. The food was good and plentiful and we would like to highlight the cleanliness of the centre and sleeping quarters. Some places we have stayed in have been terrible. You are so lucky to have activities on site. This cut down traveling times to different sites and enabled us to pack more activities into the day, or do the same activity for a longer time. We shall (and already have) spread the word about Weardale House and we hope to visit you again in the future

On behalf of our pupils I would like to say a big thankyou for a wonderful week. All the pupils, even the 2nd timers, had a great time. The centre is ideal, the choice of activities excellent and the staff are outstanding. This is our second visit and we will be booking again next year.

Once again, thank you to all your staff for another extremely successful visit. The children thoroughly enjoyed their experiences. The excellent instruction they received gave gave them all the confidence to achieve so much in an atmosphere that they found safe, supportive and friendly. On their behalf and their parents, thank you.
On behalf of our staff, I would also like to thank you. You all manage to make our job so much easier. We always know that the food will be good, the safety of the children will be assured and we can be reasonably relaxed to to enjoy the experience with the children.
Hopefully, we will be seeing you again next year. Until then, you have our appreciation for providing an excellent five days for both us and the children

Many thanks for a wonderful 2days.We all (staff included) thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we are looking forward to our return in October 2004.
Thankyou for the most exciting experience of my life.
I loved my time at weardale and enjoyed everything and the staff were great.
Exploring the great outdoors is in a totally different league to sitting slobbing it out in front of the playstation.
I loved the ropes course - it was very challenging. I was really proud when I caught the Trapeze.
The instructors were great and I experienced a lot of activities that i never thought I would be able to do in a million years.
I think all the activities you do are fantastic especially the Ropes Course and Gorge Walking.
The Rock Climbing was great, as was the Scavenger Hunt and Nightline.
Thankyou very much to the cooks for making wonderful meals.
I tried some food that I used to hate but I loved it.
My favourite meal was the pastie, it was lovely.
The food was great, especially the chocolate cake.
I think the tuckshop was best.
I would recommend Weardale to anyone because it is a brilliant adventure and loads of fun.

Thank you once again for an excellent course last week. The instruction was of it's usual high standard and we enjoyed working with the two new members of staff, Jules and Neil. We are thrilled at the continued progress we make with the GCSE courses and I must add that I'm grateful for the the flexible programming allowing us to cater for the 'A' level and ITT students as well as year 9 and GCSE all within one week. Y7 HAVE AN ADVENTURE IN WEARDALE
|
My school pals and me went off to an adventure week at Weardale House. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had adventure after Adventure.
We went canoeing, rock climbing, gorge walking, walking and did a rope course which consisted of the trapeze, catwalk and many more.
But it doesn't finish here. In the evenings there were more activities such as the scavenger hunt, the drop off walk, seek it and egg drop.
The staff at Weardale House made us feel very welcome. If there were any activities we think we couldn't do, by the end of the adventure, we could do them with no problem.
The staff are all qualified and safety is first and then FUN, FUN, FUN.
We can't wait to go back.
Even the teachers had fun !!!!
